We work with young people and their families who face challenges and hurdles beyond anything most of us have ever imagined. The accelerating pace and sheer complexity of our technological age, negative peer pressure in the youth culture, the influence of media, widespread drug and alcohol abuse, and the presence of disharmony and violence in our society create special challenges for families and children. In this context, we are called to do everything in our power to guide and sometimes to intervene vigorously in the lives of our children to ensure they have a chance to grow up whole and to live productive lives.
